This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Mister Swing again!
Gorgeous video by Hans Christian Klüver. It's a multitrack nose flute recording called White Nose. Indeed, some flutes whistle with a kind of "ghost sound" effect. Greatly done!
This shows that the nose flute is a proper instrument when it is properly played. There are two things here that clearly make this piece work: harmony with the same instrument and sound enhancement by means of effect. Super job of course.
