This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Is this our future ?
Well, this is not exactly a nose flute. Or yes, it is a nose flute, but traditional style, with fingered notes. No, in fact, it's too modern to be traditional. Well, it's actually an ocarina, but played with the nose. On an iPhone.
With this one I wonder if anyone could do circular breathing in reverse..., inhaling through the mouth and continuously exhaling through the nose...!!!
Wow, amazing how far technology can go; I am ever so surprised by new apps...!
Having said that: I would still prefer the free pitch of the 50 cent plastic nose flute that is always ready to go!
