This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

  1. I am totally amazed and so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful new output from Japan!

These birds on a swing must be my favourite, particularly the small penguin...! How sweet they are!!! The sarcophagus and the hanging basket are ever so clever as well.

Great to also see so many different designs that look so much like collectors' toys and whistles!!! The panda and the owl surely must appeal to any kid, no matter how old...! I just cannot get enough of this Japanese nifty design!
