This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Video : Jan Ruijg & the Bonduelle band

Here is a video signaled to our attention by JobTePas. Jan Ruijg plays a very special nose flute : a metal early-Humanatone shaped flute, stuck to the handle of a crutch !
The crutch itself is drilled with holes, like a recorder, but it seems to me they are not functional, just theatrical (how can them be, since the the air does not enter the crutch?)
