This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Adagio For Bootz and Nose Flute

Some nose flute and a cat, featuring under the pompous name Adagio For Bootz and Nose Flute, in an album by the canadian Jay Linden. The tune, from the CD called Under The Radar, is very short (36sec) and rather funny. It won't revolutionize the nose flute world, but the effort deserved to be noticed.

Great stuff! The intonation and expressiveness of this cat outshines the capabilities of many noseflute players! Amazing how he keeps the pitch with slight yet very colourful variations of the Leitmotiv. I could not have done it better.
