This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Jun Tanioka on stage!

Our friend Hanabue114 on stage for a public performance, in Iwaki (Fukushima Prefecture). Well, much less disco than when he plays in his home! :)

  1. The piano of accompaniment records a performance of a daughter's piano.
Although it was not on the stage together, it became a father and the daughter's session.

  2. Since it was an event which means repose of souls of those who passed away by the earthquake disaster, this event is a solemn feeling and it performed it.

  4. I wonder where this remembrance event was staged.

Interestingly, the noseflute traditionally was also played at funerals and wakes. Great choice of song, performed with the right intention, so very well done!
