This blog is dedicated to the sublime instruments called nose flutes and which produce the most divine sound ever. We have chosen to discard all the native models from S. Pacific and Asia, for they need fingering to be played. We'll concentrate on "buccal cavity driven" nose flutes : the well patented and trademarked metal or plastic ones, plus, by a condemnable indulgence, some wooden craft or home-made productions.

Home made : The Kartofflöte
Here is a potato nose flute I made in 10 minutes. Regard it as an homage to Sensei Heita3, the pioneer master of vegetable musical instruments!

I would like to see a picture of the momentary (many days after the production) state, or, better, a documentation of the changes in shape, colour and - smell. You should find a place to show it to the public. Too bad Mr. Beuys is dead already, he might have supported you....
ReplyDeleteJa ja! It's planned and will be shown. But the Kartofflöte still ... evolves, so I wait for its very ending to show the pictures series... Be patient dear Nosymusic!
ReplyDeleteKind regards,
Antoine
Its ending? As a stinking little thing with many happy little animals on it? Can't wait to see it!!! But, as usual, I am very patient ;-)
